About Me

Amanda Carbonell is a Puerto Rican KidLit author who also dabbles in adult works. She has a passion for writing most things speculative or horror, thanks to her mother for introducing her to Buffy at the ripe age of five. Her stories are typically centered around a strong, sometimes morally grey, main character who embraces their uniqueness and all the things that make them, them, with the hopes that readers will be able to connect to her stories on a deeper level.

 

Amanda currently resides on the boarder of New York and Connecticut with her husband, son, and two dogs. When she’s not reading, writing, or watching Toy Story with her toddler, she can usually be found on the couch watching endless reruns of Gilmore Girls or reality TV.
