About Me

Amanda Carbonell is a Puerto Rican KidLit author who also dabbles in adult works. Though she has a passion for writing most things speculative or horror (thanks to her mother for introducing her to Buffy at the ripe age of five), she tends to write across the board. There is nothing Amanda loves more than creating strong, unique characters who are unapologetically themselves.

 

Amanda currently resides on the boarder of New York and Connecticut with her husband, son, and two dogs. When she’s not reading, writing, or watching Toy Story with her toddler, she can usually be found on the couch watching endless reruns of Gilmore Girls or reality TV.
